Male announcer: Previously on “The End Time Show.”
Dave Robbins: And you know, here’s a big thing.
I do not lose sleep over writings that are not included
in the 66 books of the Bible.
I have a lot of people come to me and say, “Well, what about
this book?
These books weren’t included and you know this happened” and
look, I get all that, but the thing is, God is powerful enough
to have everything that we need included in the 66 books
of the Bible.
Everything you need is in that.

Dave: I’m answering the question that can you trust the Bible?
Now I could probably stop right here and hopefully, I’ve, you
know, implanted something in your mind that will let you
know, you know what, wow, I can’t trust the Bible.
But I wanna go through here.
I wanna get a little deeper into it to kind of give you a full
overview here because there’s so many reasons why we can trust
the Bible.
Of course, you know, I’m giving you a brief overview here ’cause
it’s easily understood.
The Ten Commandments, think about that.
These Ten Commandments, they’re divided in two sections.
The first, the first four of them focus on our relationship
with God.
The last six focus on our relationship with others.
Remember the thesis of the Bible, your relationship with
God, your relationship with your fellow men.
The Ten Commandments cover those.
And Jesus summarizes the law in Matthew chapter 22, verse 36
to 40.
It says that the two greatest commandments, remember, they’re
to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your
neighbor as yourselves.
So, Jesus teaches if we follow these two commandments that we
will naturally fulfill all the others.
These two commandments really encapsulates the essence of the
entire Bible.
So let’s talk about the Old and the New Testament ’cause
somebody, there’s a lot of people I teach in our college in
Jerusalem and I mean all over the place a lot of people are
kind of confused in the Old and the New Testament.
What’s the reason for that?
The Old Testament don’t matter anymore.
Well, we don’t pay any attention to the New Testament.
I hear it all.
So, the word testament means will, okay.
The last will and testament of Sadie May, okay.
So, the Old Testament is simply the old will of God and the
New Testament is the new will of God.
And I emphasize this point because when some people begin
studying the Bible, they often get confused and they struggle
to connect the two.
You’ve got to connect the two though, both of the Word of
God, right?
So we’re not gonna rip out the Old Testament and pitch it, no,
can’t do that.
Because that’s gonna show us God’s redemptive plan for
mankind all the way through.
There’s a purpose for both.
The Old Testament is given to guide us towards the New
Testament and it served as a schoolmaster, the law
schoolmaster bringing us to Christ.
And it’s crucial to understand that we now live under the new
will of God.
Some people wanna go back into Judaism and back under the law
and things like that, but no, we’re not under the law.
If you’ve been born again, you’re not under the Old
Testament law anymore, okay?
You don’t have to, you know, I don’t have to worry about going
by the law of a calf being seed then it’s mother’s milk.
There are people that will not eat cheeseburgers today because
there may be a chance of a calf being seed in its mother’s milk,
cheese and a hamburger being together.
But those laws don’t apply anymore.
Once you’re born again, you can eat a cheeseburger, okay.
And we’re all thankful for that, right?
But the Old Testament, let’s go there real quick.
The Old Testament, basically righteousness of the law.
Romans 10:5 tells us about the righteousness of the law.
It says, “For Moses, describeth the righteousness which is of
the law, That the man which doeth these things shall live
by them.”
So this verse explains that the man who keeps these things, he’s
gonna die.
If he does not or I’m sorry, he will, the man who keeps these
things he’ll live, if you obey, the ones who do not, they’re
gonna die.
The New Testament righteousness by faith.
Romans 10:6 through 9 tells us what happens when we move into
the new will of God, the New Testament.
It says, “But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on
this wise, Saith not in thine heart, who shall ascend
into heaven?
(That is, to bring Christ down from above:)
or who shall descend into the deep?
(That is, to bring Christ again from the dead.)
But what saith it?
The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:
that is, the word of faith, which we preach: That if thou
shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved.”
Now, some people go right there and say, “Well, hey, all I have
to do is believe and be saved.”
Well, that’s where you’ve got to tie all the verses of the Bible
and make sure you understand the entire plan of salvation.
There is more to salvation than just believing or just
having faith.
You say, “Well, well, no, then you’re getting into works.”
Well, you gotta understand the entire plan of salvation, okay?
In the Old Testament, a person worked under righteousness.
In the New Testament we believe under righteousness.
However, a person is not saved by faith alone.
The Bible says, “The devils believe in one God and tremble,”
doesn’t it?
But the devils won’t be saved.
So there’s more than just belief.
A person must first have faith, but we’ll also need to be born
again like Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:1 through 7, right?
Nicodemus, “I say unto you, you can’t enter or see the kingdom
of God except you’re born again.”
And then verse 7, “Marvel not that I say unto you, you must be
born again.”
So yes, belief and faith is involved in the plan of
salvation, but look at the entire New Testament and you’ll
see some things there that are not works.
There’s no work you’re gonna do that’s gonna save you, but
there’s some different things involved in the plan
of salvation.
So the Old Testament was a knowledge of sin.
Remember, the Bible says, the strength of sin is the law, the
knowledge of sin, that was the law, people knew all.
The Old Testament was meant to reveal the knowledge of sin
while the New Testament came to teach us the remedy for sin.
The New Testament says, being therefore made free from sin,
we have peace with God.
Free from sin, you say, “How is that even possible?”
It is possible.
In the eyes of God, his blood covers you.
And if you make a mistake, the Bible says, “Blessed is the man
to whom God will not impute their sin.”
What?
How do we get there, right?
Well, the Bible’s pretty awesome.
It explains all this.
So, the Old Testament was designed for condemnation, to
show us our guilt and lead us to repentance.
The New Testament, on the other hand, offers freedom from guilt.
And it’s God’s will for everyone to live a completely
guilt-free life.
Think about that.
I’m gonna say that again.
It’s God’s will for everyone to live a completely guilt free.
You say, “But yeah, Dave, but I’ve been saved 25 years and
every once in a while I just bump my toe and do something I
shouldn’t do.
Guess what happens?
The next second, Satan will come to you and say, “Ha ha,
you screwed up, you’re gonna go to hell.
God hates your guts, he doesn’t love you.”
And there are people that will live with that guilt for years
and years and years, because I failed God.
Listen to me, God loves you.
My kids have failed me, but does that mean I don’t love them?
No.
Does that mean I would send him to hell?
No.
You made a mistake, get up, shake your dust off, and repent
and keep on trucking.
Stay on the straight and narrow.
Don’t let that derail you.
Satan is a master at bringing guilt and condemnation.
Ah, look what you did.
The Bible says he’s accusing us before God day and night, but
God sees me through the blood and he doesn’t lay that sin to
my charge as long as I will repent and get up and keep on
the straight and narrow,” okay?
It’s a wonderful way to live.
Romans 8:1 says, listen closely.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in
Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after
the Spirit.”
The Bible says, “The spirit of life in Christ Jesus had made me
free from the law of sin and death.”
Wow, what a way to live?
But if you don’t know the Bible, you don’t even understand
these concepts.
You see what I’m saying?
The words to eternal life and your best life down here on
earth are in the Bible.
Most people, there are people that are dealing with anxiety
and stress and turmoil and this situation and now I’m into it
with my neighbor and oh, I guess that, and if you would just get
in Christ Jesus and walk not after the flesh, but walk after
the Spirit.
Oh man, chaos and turmoil can be happening all around you, but
you can just be cool as a cucumber, say, “You know what?
Won’t come nigh me.”
They say, “Oh, things will happen to me.”
Yeah, things are gonna happen.
That’s part of life.
However, God can help you walk through times of trouble,
turmoil, stress, tribulation, right.
So the Old Testament types and shadows of things in the
New Testament.
Colossians 2:16 through 17, it says, “Let no man, therefore
judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holyday, or
of a new moon, or Sabbath days: Which are a–they’re only a
shadow of things to come.”
Not the reality, “But the body is of Christ.”
The Old Testament contains types and shadows of the New
Testament realities.
You can understand the New Testament reality better if you
understand the Old Testament shadows.
For instance, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost is a New
Testament reality of observing the Sabbath in the
Old Testament.
You know that?
A lot of people get all wound up about do we observe the Sabbath
on Sunday or Tuesday or, you know, Saturday or what do we do?
No, come on.
When you receive the Holy Ghost, you’re observing the Sabbath
every day.
The prophet Isaiah prophesized, “With stammering lips and
another tongue, would he speak to this people?
And this is the rest where with the weary would be called
the rest.”
He’s prophesying about something that’s gonna happen in the New
Testament, okay?
Types and shadows.
The Old Testament contains 39 books which are grouped into
categories to help with the organization and understanding.
The categories include there’s five books of the law, Genesis,
Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.
There are 12 history books in the Old Testament.
Joshua Judges, Ruth, 1 and 2 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, 1 and 2
Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther.
There are five books of poetry.
Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song
of Solomon.
There are major prophets and then minor prophets.
There are five major prophets, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations,
Ezekiel, and then Daniel.
And they’re called major not because they’re more important,
but because it’s all the Word of God, but because they’re
just longer.
Then there’s the minor prophets, very short ones.
There’s 12 of those.
Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum.
Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
Whoa, those are just simply shorter books, so they’re called
minor prophets.
And the books are not arranged in chronological order either in
the Bible.
For example, Psalms was written during the time of 2 Samuel and
Isaiah and Jeremiah, they were written before Ezra
and Nehemiah.
So understanding the groupings and the order of these books
helps in studying the Bible with so many believing that Job was
actually the oldest book.
Think about that.
So when you get to the New Testament, that consists of
27 books.
That’s divided into different categories.
The four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
They offer accounts of Jesus’s life and his teachings and,
of course, his death, burial, resurrection.
And so we’ll get more into this after the break, but you’ve got
these different categories of how the books are laid out
and what they cover in different things.
The Bible, I’m telling you, it’s the best book.
It’s showing us how to get to heaven.
So certainly wanna understand something about it and it’s
really pretty easy once you understand the thesis of
the book.
What’s God trying to say?

Dave: There’s 27 books in the New Testament.
The Gospels, the first four books: Matthew, Mark, Luke,
and John.
The book of Acts, written by Luke.
So the book of Luke and then the Book of Acts, both written by
Luke, that details the history of the early church and the
actions that the apostles took after Jesus’s ascension into
heaven in Acts chapter one.
The epistles are letters written to saved individuals to churches
offering guidance on, well, I should say individuals and
churches, offering guidance on how to live post salvation, post
their born again experience.
The Apostle Paul wrote, 14 of those books, of the epistles
including Romans and several letters to various churches.
Other epistles though there were James, Peter, John and Jude and
then of course the final book Revelation of course we believe
that that is unfolding today, right?
Started thousands of years ago, but it’s unfolding today.
So, here’s the thing.
My question was, is the Bible true?
Can we trust it?
Well, how can we know the Bible’s true?
Is there any way to know that?
Maybe it is.
Myths and fairy tales.
Okay, that’s almost blasphemous to say that.
So, it’s not.
It’s not myths, it’s not fairy tales.
So there are many ways to prove the Bible’s true history.
The Bible is considered the most reliable history book.
I mean, even more so than early historians like Josephus.
There are critics sure they’ve tried to disprove it by using
historical methods.
That there was a time when there are many people, most people
totally dismissed the book of Daniel because there was no
record of a king named Belshazzar.
And for almost 1800 years, there was cited proof as this was
cited proof as the Bible’s inaccuracy.
However, in 1854 archaeologists found a cylinder kind of like
a mile marker or something like that in Babylon that confirmed
Belshazzar was indeed a historical figure to
Nebuchadnezzar, his son Nabonidus, and his grandson
Belshazzar, proving the Bible’s accuracy the whole time.
This discovery shows the Bible remains and there’s many others
that it’s the most trustworthy history book ever written.
The history books are constantly getting rewritten when they find
new stuff.
The Bible, the Bible says that word of the Lord is forever
settled in heaven.
So history is one way you can know that I can trust the Bible
and it is totally the infallible Word of God and how can we know
that it’s true.
Another one very easily is prophecy.
Jesus said in John 14:29, “And now I have told you before it
comes to pass, that, when it comes to pass, you
might believe.”
So believing is critical because without faith, it’s impossible
to please God.
Hebrews chapter 11.
“He that comes to God must first believe.”
Belief is the first step and it’s necessary to have a base
for your faith.
The Bible says, “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit
of prophecy.”
Jesus is telling us ahead of time before it comes to pass, so
that we might have a basis for our faith, that we might believe
in his word, right?
So there are many prophecies of the first coming of
Jesus Christ.
All of them came true, all the Messianic prophecies.
And there are–the prophecies in the Old Testament about the
first coming of Jesus Christ, they were all fulfilled in the
New Testament.
The virgin birth, Isaiah 7:14 predicts a virgin would conceive
and bear a son and that was fulfilled in the birth of
Jesus Christ.
The place of Jesus’s birth, Micah 5:2, prophesized that the
Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.
Of course, Jesus was living–his mother and father were living in
Nazareth, Joseph and Mary, but they traveled to Bethlehem to
have and that’s when they had Jesus.
The price of Jesus betrayal, Zechariah 11:2.
The use of the betrayal money, Zechariah 11:13 predicts the 30
pieces of silver would be used to buy a potter’s field.
And after Judas was just hammered with condemnation, he
took the money back to the priests, and they bought they
used the blood money to purchase a potter’s field.
Every Messianic prophecy foretold in the Old Testament
came to pass, every single one.
And that’s, now that’s only a small sample of the Old
Testament Messianic prophecies that support the authenticity of
the scriptures.
Again, is the Bible true?
Can it be trusted?
Absolutely, 100%.
You never have to doubt that.
Now, of course, this is “The Endtime Show,” right?
So, prophecies of the Second Coming.
There are close to 1000 right at about 1000 prophecies concerning
the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
He’s gonna establish his kingdom here on earth, the millennial
reign, everything that happens leading up to that.
After that, the great white throne judgment, eternity.
There’s about 1000 prophecies concerning that.
Some of the most recognizable ones that have already come to
pass, the rebirth of the nation of Israel in Ezekiel chapter 37.
Ezekiel’s boneyard in Ezekiel 37, we believe that God was
showing Ezekiel a vision of Hitler’s Holocaust.
And the Bible says, “Ezekiel, prophesy to these bones.”
He prophesied to ’em.
They started coming back together and became humans and
the Lord told Ezekiel, this is the whole house of Israel.
I’m gonna bring them back together out of their boneyards
and I’m gonna bring them back together into a nation, and
they’re gonna, before it’s all over with, they’re gonna have
their entire promised land that I gave them to their
father, Jacob.
They will inhabit the land.
So the rebirth of the nation of Israel, Ezekiel 37, May 14,
1948, Israel declares their independence and we’re living
through the ongoing fulfillment of that prophecy.
The Bible is the only book in the world that I can use current
events today to prove those prophecies 2000 to 2500 years
ago are coming to pass right now.
It validates, we validate the Word of God every time I get on
the radio, write an article, go on a television program, go to
Israel and look at all the different archaeological digs.
There are so many ways to prove the validity and the absolute
trust in the Word of God.
Great Britain, the United States and Russia, and Germany and the
Holy Roman Empire in the Bible.
Daniel 7:1 through 8, it’s a critical prophecy and it’s
absolute proof.
The United States, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, and
other modern nations are found in scripture.
Again, validating the Word of God, you can trust the Bible.
Revelation 13:15 through 18, the mark of the beast, a number
that’s gonna be used, a mark or a number in your right hand or
forehead that without that, you’re not gonna be able to buy
or sell.
Every person on earth will have to have that number.
And this has never been possible until my generation think
about that.
And with the birth of the computer and the birth of the
internet and blockchain technology and every now AI and
all this other stuff that’s that’s being used.
The ongoing fulfillment of the establishment of
a world government.
Revelation, chapter 13, verse 1 through 3.
The modern nations prophesied
in Daniel 7 are gonna federalize into a one world
governing body except for the eagle, the United States, not
gonna be part of that, but it’s gonna federalize into a one
world governing body and be ran by the Antichrist.
That we’re watching the ongoing establishment of that world
government right now.
It’s proving the validity of God.
Every time I talk about the establishment of a world
government on the radio or television or write an article,
I’m validating the Word of God, world religion.
Revelation 13:11 through 15, the ongoing establishment of a
world religion, the coming World War III.
World War III is on basically every news source right now in
the news.
And that’s Revelation 9:13 through 21.
The Bible says, “Loose the four angels bound in the great review
Euphrates, for to kill a third part of all of mankind.”
That war is staring us right in the face.
And also there’s coming an Israeli-Palestinian peace
agreement, Daniel 9:27.
That’s right around the corner.
Rome is gonna be the headquarters for a war
religious system.
That’s Revelation chapter 17 and 18.
I mean, just there’s one right after another, prophecy after
prophecy, current event after current event, showing how these
prophecies are coming to pass.
The prophecies that are supposed to occur just prior to the
second coming of Jesus Christ, they’re happening one right
after another.
I have people that will call me periodically and say, “Oh, you
guys, why do you teach this stuff?
That we’re not in the end-time.”
And if they say, “Oh, you believe we’re in the end-time,
prove it.”
And I’m like, tell me which prophecy you want me to
talk about.
Just name one.
I can show you precursors, they’re either happening or I
can show you precursors to every single one of them leading up to
the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, everyone.
So, and then they’ll say, “Well, wow, I guess I didn’t realize.
Also, the way to another way to validate the Word of God to
prove, can we trust it?
Is it true?
Absolutely, miracles.
Mark chapter 16, verse 17 and 18.
Bible says, “These signs shall follow them that believe: In my
name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new
tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any
deadly thing, it won’t harm them; they shall lay hands on
the sick, and they shall recover.”
I took a tour to Israel, me and Doug Norvelle, many of you would
know him from our radio program.
We took a tour to Israel a few years ago and before the war
kicked off with Hamas.
And we prayed for a lady there in the Jordan River and she
got baptized.
We prayed for her.
She had a cancer on her neck.
Two weeks later she sent us a text and said, “Hey, you guys,
thank you.
I’m dancing and shouting, thank you, Jesus.
This cancer on my neck is completely gone and the cancer
tumors in my leg are gone.”
Now, the Bible says, “These signs shall follow them
that believe.
They will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”
Folks, we either believe this stuff or we don’t.
People that don’t believe, they never pray with anybody.
But people that believe, they would say, in the name of
Jesus Christ, I command you to be healed.
And people are healed as a result of that.
You say, “Well, I don’t know about in 2025.”
Listen, it happened to me.
I was there when it happened and I guess I ought to know.
It’s happened.
Experience is another way.
Personal experience.
Throughout my life I’ve had many experiences that only the Lord
could have done.
I’ve been born again.
I repented, baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost just like
they did in the book of Acts.
That’s an absolute miracle.
God forgave me of all my sins.
God healed my marriage miraculously.
I’ve been led by his Spirit in Endtime Bible studies and in my
walk with God.
I know God’s, you know, he didn’t speak to me in an audible
voice, but this dysfunction in my spirit, “Dave, do this,” and
I did it and a miraculous thing happened, and I thought, whoa,
God’s got his eyes right on me.
I’ve been healed before.
I’ve seen God perform miracles for our ministry here,
Endtime Ministries.
I mean, the list goes on and on and on and on.
Many ways to prove the the validity of God.
It’s absolutely true.
The Dead Sea Scrolls also is another way to prove the
validity of the Bible.
And of course, you know, there’s a question, who wrote the Bible?
Well, of course, in 2 Peter chapter 1, verse 21, it says,
“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, but
by holy men of God, spake as they were moved on by
the Holy Ghost.”
It’s very, very important you understand.
This was not written by men who just saw, well, let’s, let’s
write some great novel, it’s not the way it works.
God moved on different men throughout time and they wrote
the Bible and that’s how we ended up with the 66 books of
the Bible that we have today.
So, very, very important.
Don’t let anybody deceive you.
Don’t let the devil deceive you and say, “Well, you can’t trust
the Word of God.
You can’t put your hope and faith and trust in that book.
That’s a myth.
That’s a fairy tale.”
No, you can put your eternal, your hope in an eternal
salvation and eternal security in that book.
Trust the Word of God, it’s gonna get us all to heaven.
