Global Tensions and Technological Shifts: A Deep Dive into Security, Climate, and the Rise of CBDCs
By Doug Norvell
The article covers significant global issues, including Israel’s concerns over Palestinian Authority plans to isolate Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, posing a security threat. It also discusses U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres’ warnings about climate change and the need for urgent action. Klaus Schwab advocates for a globalist agenda, pushing for centralized control and innovation. Iran’s nuclear progress and the potential for war are highlighted, along with Pope Francis’ push for interfaith dialogue. Finally, the article examines the global expansion of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), with increasing interest from central banks around the world.

Dividing Judea and Samaria?
Israel Gantz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council, has warned the Israeli government about a Palestinian Authority (P.A.) plan to isolate Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. In a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and other Cabinet members, Gantz highlighted ongoing P.A. construction projects on ridges that overlook key highways, aiming to create territorial continuity from Jerusalem to the Ariel region. This plan, Gantz stated, would isolate Jewish settlements, control central roads, and form a significant Arab continuum, posing a threat to Israel’s national security. With the attack on October 7, 2023, still heavy in the minds of the Israeli people, this plan is a clear threat to the settlement areas. He emphasized the urgency to prevent the P.A. from advancing these projects, particularly in Area B which is still under joint administrative control as per the Oslo Accords.

United Nations’ Climate Propaganda
U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres has warned about the severe consequences of climate change, emphasizing the need for urgent action to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. He highlighted climate change threatens water and food security, causes displacement and fuels political instability. Guterres called for greater ambition from major emitters to slash emissions and deliver climate justice. He says the science is clear, climate change is the biggest threat to the Earth and future generations.
During his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Guterres noted the country’s position in the climate crisis despite its minimal contribution to the problem. He praised local efforts and highlighted the region’s increasing frequency of extreme weather events. Despite his commendation, Kyrgyzstan has faced significant pollution issues, particularly in its capital Bishkek. Guterres also visited Uzbekistan, applauding its solar power initiatives as a move toward renewable energy.
In previous statements, Guterres criticized the fossil fuel industry, describing it as the godfather of climate chaos and warned that the world is on a highway to climate hell unless immediate action is taken.
Globalist Agenda for Humanity
At the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) summer meeting in China, founder Klaus Schwab declared the globalist agenda requires humanity to be “forced” into collaboration with the unelected organization. He praised China’s centralized economic policies, which globalists view as a model for centralized planning in a high-tech surveillance state. This system includes smart cities, smart electric vehicles, smart homes, appliances, meters, AI, digital IDs and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), all controlled by switches that are not accessible to the end user. In this vision, people’s lives would be tightly controlled, with authorities able to cut off essential services and resources if individuals do not comply. Schwab acknowledged that such measures would be unpopular and lead to civil unrest. He reiterated the importance of innovation and cross-sector collaboration for a sustainable future while noting that ordinary taxpayers have no representation in these discussions. Schwab and other globalists view reduced human populations and increased reliance on AI as necessary for future economic growth, advocating for a technocratic governance model.
Sixth Trumpet War
Iran’s Nuclear Policy
Dr. Ephraim Asculai, a former senior official at the Israel Atomic Energy Commission and the International Atomic Energy Agency, expressed concerns about Iran’s nuclear ambitions during an interview hosted by the Jerusalem Press Club. He warned Iran’s installation of additional centrifuges at the Fordow nuclear facility marks significant progress toward nuclear weaponization. Despite having the capability to produce nuclear weapons, Iran’s restraint is attributed to policy decisions rather than technical limitations. Asculai emphasized Iran could enrich enough uranium for multiple warheads within weeks if decided by the supreme leader.
Iran threatened that an Israeli military operation against Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon could lead to an obliterating war with all of Tehran’s proxies, saying that all options are on the table.
Dr. Asculai criticized the International Community’s inadequate response and noted the limited access IAEA inspectors have to Iran’s weaponization program. He also mentioned that while Europe has taken more proactive measures than the U.S. to curb Iran’s nuclear progress, the Biden administration has been hesitant. He urged the International Community to increase pressure on Iran and cautioned against underestimating the Iranian regime’s intentions.
World Religion
Pope Francis’ Interfaith Agenda
Pope Francis recently asserted that Christians, Jews and Muslims all worship the same God and are “brothers and sisters.” Addressing a delegation from the Bologna Mosque in Italy, he emphasized the shared faith in Abraham and the importance of fraternity among the three religions. The pope called for sincere and respectful interfaith dialogue and stressed that religious beliefs should be proposed, not imposed on others. He also advised against using interfaith marriages for conversion purposes.
The debate over whether Muslims and Christians worship the same God is a contentious issue in interreligious dialogue. Pope Francis has said that his belief is Christians and Muslims worship the same God, a stance that has sparked debate among other Christian leaders.
Cardinal Gerhard Müller has contended that Muslims and Christians do not believe in the same God, emphasizing doctrinal differences regarding the nature of God. Cardinal Raymond Burke, former head of the Vatican’s highest court, also argued against the idea that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. Burke cautioned against the modern belief that Islam and Christianity are fundamentally the same, describing it as influenced by religious relativism.
Pope Francis’ emphasis on fraternity and dialogue reflects his efforts to promote interfaith understanding amidst ongoing theological disagreements.
Mark of the Beast
CBDCs Global Expansion
A recent survey by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) reveals that more central banks than ever are exploring the implementation of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). Among the 86 participating banks, 94% are investigating digital versions of their national currencies, up from 90% in 2021. Most central banks are inclined to issue wholesale CBDCs, accessible only to banks and financial institutions, rather than retail versions for public use within the next six years.
The survey indicates many central banks are considering features such as holding limits, interoperability, offline options and zero remuneration for retail CBDCs. Early adopters include China, Nigeria and the Bahamas. Additionally, the survey found that stablecoins pegged to assets like the dollar or gold are infrequently used for payments outside the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
